نظمت سفارة جمهورية كوريا الجنوبية لدى اليمن بالشراكة مع منظمة رسل السلام ندوة عن دور القبائل في دعم عملية السلام و مكافحة الإرهاب.
وفي الندوة ألقى سفير جمهورية كوريا الجنوبية السيد بونج كاي دو كلمة رحب فيها بالسفراء وممثلي البعثات الدبلوماسية لدى اليمن وبالمشائخ الحاضرين مشيرا إلى أهمية مثل هذه الندوات التي تسهم في دعم كل جهود السلام في اليمن.
وتحدثت أوراق الندوة عن تاريخ القبيلة اليمنية وخارطتها السياسية والجغرافية وعلاقتها بالدولة.
وأشار الشيخ عبدالله شرف النعماني مقدم الورقة الأولى إلى أن علاقة الدولة بالقبيلة هي علاقة تكاملية وأن الدولة عندما تضعف تكون القبيلة هي السند والداعم لمؤسسات الدولة.
فيما قدم وكيل وزارة الإعلام الدكتور نجيب غلاب ورقته حول دور القبائل في مكافحة الإرهاب وأهمية حماية اليمن من براثن الإرهاب.
وعن دور القبيلة في دعم عملية السلام، فقد أوضح الدكتور متعب بازياد أن القبيلة اليمنية تمتلك أعرافا وقيما في التصالح والتسامح في أوساط المجتمع المحلي كما أنها مساندة لكل جهود الدولة في صنع السلام والتهيئة له.
من جهته قال المدير التنفيذي لمنظمة رسل السلام وليد المعلمي أن هذه الفعالية تهدف إلى دعم كل جهود السلام في اليمن والتعريف بأدوار القبيلة ورصيدها النضالي الوطني في إسناد الدولة والدفاع عن الثوابت الوطنية
وخلصت الندوة إلى أهمية تنظيم مؤتمر قبلي يضم كل قبائل اليمن وعمل تحالف قبلي يمكنهم من المشاركة في أي عملية سياسية في اليمن.
On November 7th, morning, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Yemen, in partnership with the Messengers of Peace Organization, organized a Seminar on the role of tribes in supporting peace process and combating terrorism.
At the beginning of the Seminar, the Korean Ambassador, Mr. Bong-Kea Do, presented the opening remarks. He welcomed the ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions to Yemen and the present sheikhs , pointing out the importance of such seminars that contribute to supporting all peace efforts in Yemen.
The seminar sessions discussed the history of the Yemeni tribe, its political and geographical map, and its relations with the state. Sheikh Abdullah Sharaf Al-Numani, the speaker of session 1, pointed out that the state’s relationship with the tribe is a complementary relationship, and that at the state weaknesses, the tribe represents a key support to state institutions.
While the deputy Minister of Information, Dr. Najeeb Ghallab, discussed the role of tribes in combating terrorism and the importance of protecting Yemen from the clutches of terrorism. Regarding the role of the tribe in supporting the peace process, Dr. Mutib Baziad explained that the Yemeni tribe has norms and values of reconciliation and tolerance among the local community and that it supports all the state’s efforts in making peace and paving the way towards peace.
On his side, Executive Director of the Messengers of Peace Organization, Waleed Al-Muallami, said that this event aims to support all peace efforts in Yemen and introduce the roles of the tribe and its national struggle in supporting the state and defending national principles. The seminar has concluded pointing out to the importance of organizing a tribal conference includes all the tribes of Yemen and forming a tribal alliance that enables them to participate in any political process in Yemen.
